Job Description:

A database administrator is responsible for the planning, maintenance, administration of databases, performance tuning, indexing, backups and Documentation.

Main Duties:

-Installation and administration of SQL Server databases on Windows 2003 advanced server
-Monitor databases for resource utilization and improving performance to the optimal.
-Perform backup and recovery of SQL Server databases and scheduling a maintenance plan.
-Writing database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary ('metadata') .
-Training users and making their access requirements and resolving their problems.


-Microsoft Certification MCDBA required.
-Microsoft Certification recommended (MCSA/MCSE)
-1 to 3 years experience in SQL Server databases administration.
