This download includes Group Policy Administrative Template files and Office Customization Tool files for use with Office 2010 applications. It also includes an \Admin folder with an Office Customization Tool, and ADMX, ADML, and ADM versions of Office 2010 system Administrative Template files. For administrative template files, you may use the ADM files for any Windows operating system, or the combination of ADMX and language-specific ADML files on computers running at least Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008. This download also includes a workbook (Office2010GroupPolicyAndOCTSettings.xls) that provides information about Office 2010 Group Policy settings and OCT settings.

Instructions

To install this download:
  1. Download the file by clicking the Download button (above) and saving the file to your hard disk.
  2. Double-click the AdminTemplates_32.exe program file on your hard disk to start the Setup program.
  3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation.
  4. If you plan on using the Office Customization Tool (OCT), copy the entire \Admin folder into the folder that contains the installation image you are customizing.


Instructions for use:
After you install this download, use the 2010 Office applications as you typically would.

To remove this download:
To remove the download file, delete the file AdminTemplates_32.exe.

To remove the installed files, delete all associated .adm, .admx, and .adml Administrative Template files.

To remove the updated OCT, replace the \Admin folder in the installation image with the original \Admin folder from your source image.
