    Default

It is a very powerful management solution that we usually use for medium to large customers

It is divided into different areas, Here you are some and Not All areas:

A - SolarWinds Tools for Cisco Networks

    1-Compare Running vs. Startup Configs
Compare the Running and Startup (in NVRAM) configs on a Cisco router. If someone has changed the configuration of a Cisco router, but has not committed the changes to non-volatile memory, then there will be differences in the two configurations.

    2-Config Downloader
Downloads a configuration file from a Cisco router to your PC.

    3-Config Uploader
Upload a new configuration to a Cisco router or change any Cisco configuration parameter via SNMP. One of the most common uses is to reset an unknown Enable or Login password.

    4-Config Viewer
With the Config Viewer you can quickly extract the running config and automatically archive them for future reference. The Cisco config is then presented in an easy to follow format. Config Viewer is also able to decrypt passwords and compare changes between routers or historical configuration files.

    5-CPU Gauge
Displays the real-time CPU load for a Cisco router.

    6-IP Network Browser
Interactive TCP/IP network browser for Windows. Scan an IP subnet and show what devices are responding on that subnet. Discovers details about each interface, Frame Relay DLCIs, IOS levels, flash memory, hub ports (if it has an integrated hub), installed cards, routes, ARP table, and many other details.

    7-Router CPU Load
Displays the real-time CPU load for Cisco routers in a set of bar graphs. The load on one or many routers can be shown at the same time. Can also alert you when user defined thresholds are exceeded.

    8-Password Decryption
Ever miss key the enable password when configuring a Cisco router or have an engineer take the password on vacation with him? This program can help you reset it.

    9-Proxy PING
With Proxy Ping it is possible to remotely initiate a PING test from any remote Cisco router to any other SNMP enabled device. The ICMP PING results are calculated based packets sent from the Cisco router directly to the other remote device.

    B-Email Management Tools

    1-Spam Blacklist
Spam Blacklist allows you to test the IP addresses of your mail servers and verify the mail servers have not been blacklisted. By verifying your blacklist status, you can be sure other mail systems, which also use blacklist servers, will not be blocking mail from your mail system.

    C-IP Address Management Tools

    1-Advanced Subnet Calculator
You may have a subnet calculator . . . but not like this one. The Advanced Subnet Calculator from SolarWinds not only runs a real-time DNS and PING test, it makes generation of subnets and network worksheets simple and easy.

    2-DHCP Scope Monitor
The DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) Monitor Scope will monitor DHCP Scopes and show which scopes are low on addresses. The number of dynamically assigned (and unassigned) IP Addresses for each scope is displayed.

    3-DNS and Who Is Resolver
In addition to forward and reverse DNS looks-ups. SolarWinds DNS/Who Is Resolver also allows you to determine who owns or controls a Domain Name, Network or IP Address.

    4-DNS Analyzer
The DNS Analyzer tool can be used to visually display the hierarchy of DNS Resource records, including Name Server, CName, and Pointer. The relationships between multiple Name Servers and target IP Addresses are easy to distinguish visually using the DNS Structure diagram. Redirections from one Name Server to other Name Servers are shown as well.

    5-DNS Audit
DNS Audit scans a range or IP Addresses and performs Forward and Reverse Look-up. Reverse DNS errors are quickly identified. DNS Audit supports both DNS and WINS resolution..

    6-IP Address Management
SolarWinds IP Address Management can be used to actively monitor which IP addresses are in use on your network. It can also be used to allocate IP addresses before they are used. IP Address Management will automatically monitor the IP addresses within many subnets and report on their usage.

    7-Ping Sweep
IP Network Discovery via PING sweeps across an entire range of IP Addresses or a Subnet. Ping Sweep displays IP addresses that are in use (or not in use). Also supports reverse DNS lookup for each address.

    D-Security Tools

    1-Edit Dictionaries
Dictionary Editor for use with SNMP Dictionary Attack. The editor allows you to permutate the dictionaries or import new dictionaries.

    2-Port Scanner
The Port Scanner from SolarWinds can remotely discover the status of IP ports on devices. You can specify a range of IP addresses to be included in the scan. You can select the ports to be scanned either by specifying a Quick List of port numbers, or by selecting ports from a listing of ports that includes their commonly used purpose

    3-Remote TCP Session Reset
Remotely display all active sessions on a terminal server, router, dial-in server, access server, etc. Easily reset any session remotely.

    4-Security Check
The Router Security Check program will attempt to break into a Cisco Catalyst or router and indicate if the Cisco IOS should be upgraded. It will automatically try and determine the read-only or read-write SNMP community strings.

    5-SNMP Brute Force Attack
The SNMP Brute Force Attack will remotely determine an SNMP read-only or read-write community string by trying every possible combination of letters and numbers. This tool can be customized to only try certain character sets or certain length community strings. The attack speed can also be customized.

    E-Broadband Data Network

    1-Network Performance Monitor
The SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor is a real-time network monitor that can track network latency, packet loss, traffic and bandwidth usage, and many other network statistics. The Network Performance Monitor can also monitor each managed node and interface via SNMP to report when a node reboots or an interface goes down.

This version of Network Performance Monitor adds the ability to collection Codeword statistics as well as Signal to Noise Ratio statistics.

You can also build customized Network Alerts with Network Monitor to alert you of many different network events such as when a router reboots, server fails, interface goes down, traffic exceeds a set threshold, network latency increases, etc.

The Network Performance Monitor combines all the features of SolarWinds Network Monitor and Bandwidth Monitor and adds many more.

    2-Signal Quality Monitor
The Signal Quality Monitor will display the Signal to Noise ratio of each Upstream interface on a DOCSIS compliant Broadband Cable Head-End Router or CMTS. The Signal/Noise ratio for each interface will then be monitored continuously. The Signal Quality Monitor displays the real-time Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) for each of your upstream CMTS interfaces and allows you to configure both audible alarms and e-mail/pager alerts for changes in signal quality.

    3- Subscriber Modem Details
With the Subscriber Modem Details tool you can enter a CATV modem MAC address and view the modem's current status. The information displayed can include the modem's manufacturer, IP address, power level, registration status, distribution router, and up and down stream interfaces.
